I received this item as part of the Amazon Vine program. I wanted to give this a try cause I wanted to see if this would be a better option than my usual collagen powder from Sports Research. For 32oz, the Sports Research collagen powder runs a little over 50 bucks. This one is 22oz for about 30 bucks, which overall ends up being the better deal per ounce. I’m a big fan of the consistency of this powder compared to the Sports Research. This one is a lot finer grain, which really helps it dissolve better. It’s usually recommended to dissolve in warm to hot beverages, but I tend to use my collagen powder in a shaker with protein powder and cold water. I tested it to see how well it dissolves in water out of my fridge’s dispenser and it’s just about entirely dissolved after shaking it up. The Sports Research collagen doesn’t dissolve nearly as quick as the Neocell collagen. And there is absolutely no taste to it, so you can mix it into anything you want without worrying about it affecting the flavor. I definitely like this collagen way more, so I’ll be making the switch!
